Low Vision Program: 2006 Program Description

The Low Vision Program aims to allow maximum independence and safety in the home and community through technology and adaptive skills by providing individuals with services, produces and training that will allow them to maintain or regain their independence.
Anyone experiencing visual difficulties not correctable by medical treatment, surgery, or conventional glasses is a good candidate for rehabilitation services. The low vision program utilizes a variety of appliances for evaluation and loan.
Services include:
- Independent Living Evaluation
- Rehabilitation Teaching Assessment
- Low Vision Assessment
- Rehabilitation Teaching
- Job Site Analysis
