Attendant Training

The staff was great to me.  Ms. xxxxxx was very nice to work with and patient working with her student. 

Ms. xxxxxx was wonderful.  I've enjoyed the experience. 

When I got to work with the MIL residents was most helpful.  They all were great.  I met Ms. xxxxxx, she is wonderful and I thank her a lot. 

Learned about a lot of different things I never knew about. 

Hands on training was the best and most helpful experience with the LEAP Attendant Training Program. 

The most helpful about my experience with the LEAP Attendant Training Program was everybody worked together and helped each other. 

I feel very confident in my knowledge.  The instructors, as well as all office staff, are awesome.  Everyone made sure that all things were completely understood. The program was excellent.  I wouldn't change a thing. 

We had a very good instructor. 

The funny teachers that teach and make it fun to really want to learn and learn. 

The best thing was the real life situation the instructor gave.  It helped me to put myself in her shoes, and have an idea how to handle it. 

They are good.  They understand and listen. 

They are very understanding with everything.   

Mrs. xxxx is a wonderful instructor, LEAP has a true asset.  She has given me self-esteem, and confidence to go further in nursing.  Up-to-date equipment is needed, ie beds. 

Everyone was always helpful, enlighting, & spiritualy up lifting.  The staff and my classmate were people who I needed in my life at the time the class started, and I hope it will continue after it's over.  LEAP has a wonderful staff at the Euclid site. 

I learned a lot, so I can do better on a job.  The training was very good.  I was happy.

Benefits Planning, Assistance and Outreach

about helping with thing me and my husband need done that what good about the plann ok. I have problems with none staff taking about my ex-husband and I want her to quite taking about him ok. Because I have an new life and a new husband. 

Mr. xxxxxxxx is very knowledgeable and exceptionally articulate. He, however, made references to the fact that my son would understand the benefit analysis by the time he was done. I'm not so sure he was clear and accepting of the fact that my sons IQ/mental cognitive delays were mental retardation.My son's comprehension of money values are very poor. The level is approximately elementary-grade 2 - per his last IEP. Overall we were very pleased with LEAP. :-) 

The lady that I spoke and met with was very patient, understanding, and honest. She made me feel at ease and that was truly helpful experience. I believe that the PASS program should include that people should put money aside for housing such as a home, where they can purchase it or put a loan on the home should public housing be ceased and the person not to be homeless. 

xxxxxxx was very understanding about Billy's concerns about this SSDI and SSI and how it work if he decides to try and go back to school and work in the future. He was very nice and understanding with us and knew what he was talking about and willing to listen our concerns about the whole thing. Just keep up the good work.  

xxxxxxx was very helpful in answering my questions and getting the information that was needed to make the decisions I am about to make about my future. Nothing, You were a great help to me. Thank you all. 

I have poor comprehension skills. I didn’t know there was help out here for people in my situation. Excellent program. Explanation of how my benefits would be affected when I go back to work. This was need to know information. I don’t know that much about the program yet. Its good to know that its in place - its a good thing. 

Everyone should be able to hear this benefit presentation if they have a disabled individual.

There is a mistake. I never said that I did not work since receiving benefits. I was very happy to find out that I can receive the Medicare buy in and keep the 66.60 from my check and also to find out that what I am allowed to make per month is higher than what I thought. 

I thought I was going to find out if I would have a Medicaid spend-down. I found out more about how much my earnings would affect my SSDI.

Made me to know and learn that its very tough out there to find any job, experienced or not. W/ a disability makes it all the harder!

Provide more info on the various types of support groups available.  Have adaptive equipment in place so visually impaired individuals can do employment searches at LEAP with their employment specialist there to assist, if necessary. 

LEAP/RSC need a faster turn around time. 

Get more companys involved to help.
