LEAP has been instrumental in creating a consumer-driven Personal Assistance Cooperative. Nancy Palazzo and Kate Jackson describe the specific group in Parma that includes seven consumers and eight home health aides. If there is an aide that calls off for a day, or if a consumer requires additional or special assistance for a particular day, these two ladies will coordinate personell to best meet everybody's needs.
