 Reasons for giving are highly personal. Some people who contribute to LEAP have a personal connection to disability, some believe in social justice, and still others believe in LEAP's integrity and dedication as a social service agency. Here are some individual reasons for joining in LEAP's mission.
All gifts to LEAP are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. LEAP will send you a thank you letter to acknowledge your donation; this letter can be used for tax purposes.

Supporting LEAP through monthly donations is a great way to fit your contribution into your budget and ensure that your commitment to independent living has a yearlong impact. Monthly pledges can be charged to all major credit cards, or you may mail your check to the Development Director at LEAP.
 Many companies sponsor matching gift programs for their employees. Matching gifts are an easy way for you to double or even triple the impact of your gift. To determine whether your company has such a program, contact your human resources department. If your company has a matching gift program, you will need to obtain a matching gift form. Recognition Gifts
Gifts can be given in honor of someone or in memory of someone who has had a significant impact on your life. Paying tribute to a special person, noting an important occasion, or honoring the memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to recognize important people in your life while also investing resources to further LEAP's work.
 A planned gift can help you leave a legacy of furthering LEAP's mission and service. A variety of possibilities exist that will allow you to help further LEAP's goal of "a society of equal opportunity for all persons, regardless of disability" for generations to come.

Gift Annuities: A charitable gift annuity is a mechanism through which an individual may transfer a cash contribution to LEAP in exchange for annuity payments that are paid to the donor quarterly. -
LEAP Legacy Society: Members of the LEAP Legacy Society have included LEAP in their will, retirement plan, life insurance plan, or other estate plans. -
Gifts of Stock: Donors may make an investment in LEAP through a charitable gift of securities and/or mutual funds. This will help LEAP transform lives, and it may help the donor avoid capital gains taxes. -
In-Kind Support: Providing in-kind contributions to LEAP allows the agency to provide cost-effective services. If you are interested in offering goods or services to LEAP, please contact John Bailey, development director.

Volunteer
 Many opportunities exist for those who wish to volunteer with LEAP. Here are a few ideas. Feel free to call us and offer others that we may not have thought of.
