The Community Education and Activities Assistant is responsible for supporting diverse and creative education, skill development, and recreational activities. This includes delivery and marketing of recreation, socialization, enrichment, and wellness programs for seniors and adults (18+) with disabilities in a variety of online, in person, and/or community settings. Activities take place in locations around the greater Cleveland area in early evenings.
This position will teach and inspire participants who want to enhance their lifestyles by developing healthy habits and relationships. This position will work primarily in groups and one-on-one with participants, teaching them about the various dimensions of wellness and healthy lifestyles and developing habits to help create positive change in their lives. This position requires commitment to engaging participants to reduce loneliness and social isolation and helping people live healthier lifestyles.
