Study to Examine Attitudes of Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders

Posted July 23, 2014 in LEAP in the News

LEAP consumers who have autism spectrum disorders have been invited to participate in a nationwide study being conducted at the University of Wisconsin. The study will focus on how adults with ASDs think about themselves and their experiences, an area about which little is known, according to the study’s leader, according to T.A. Marie McDonald, a graduate student in interdisciplinary studies in autism spectrum disorders. Participants will have a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card.

The survey, which is being conducted entirely online, takes about 20 minutes to complete. Participants must be 18 years of age or older and have a diagnosis of autism, Asperger’s syndrome, or PDD-NOS.
