Creating Inclusive Communities Virtual Presentation

When: 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Did you know that one in four people in the United States live with some sort of disability?

How does a community include individuals with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities to create a welcoming and diverse place with mutual benefits?

These questions and more will be discussed. Join us as we explore the different types of disabilities, what ‘person first’ is and its importance and basic etiquette when interacting with someone who has a disability.

This class will be held virtually using Zoom, no download is required for computer users.

Registration is required. Registration opens May 1st. After registration, you will receive an email with instructions on how to join the meeting.

Registration and an email address are required to receive the Zoom link to participate. A meeting link will be emailed to registered participants approximately one hour prior to the start of the program. You will need a device with audio and/or video and an internet connection to join. If you are using a tablet or phone, please visit your App Store to download the Zoom app ahead of time.
