Grab your friends and join us on Tuesday, August 18, for a Disability Pride Party! We'll be at Forest City Brewery from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. to celebrate disability pride with storytelling, trivia, a drag show, and more! The Disability Pride Party is free to attend. What Can I Expect at the Disability Pride Party?
- Community Storytelling: Listen to members of the disability community as they talk about Disability Pride
- Disability Trivia: Interact with others during some fun and informative trivia
- Drag Show: Enjoy a drag show with disabled performers
- Crafting: Get creative making a craft to take home
What Does My Ticket Include?
Your free ticket includes entry into the event. Enjoy storytelling, trivia, crafting, and a drag show at no cost to you!
Will I Need to Pay for Anything?
Yes. You will need to purchase your own food and drinks.
There will be an opportunity to buy Disability Pride swag. You can also donate to Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential (LEAP).
Who Can Attend the Disability Pride Party?
Anyone 16 years or older can attend the Disability Pride Party. This is the venue's age limit, so we cannot make any exceptions.
Do I Need to Stay the Entire Night?
No. You are welcome to come and go, please!
