Join us at our up coming Advocacy meeting!
Our Advocacy group is a safe-place to talk about policies and issues - where everyone is treated with respect regardless of their differentiating points of view. It is also a proactive group who responds to calls-to-action! It is open to those ages 17 and up.
January: Public and Para-transport Troubles: Advocate for Accessibility
Details:
- Learn about current issues and its impact on the disability community.
- Learn what is mandated by law and what is happening on the ground.
- There will be time for Q&A, sharing your stories, and concrete action-steps you can take to help improve the transportation system.
