CJ enjoys making new friends while having fun.

CJ and his mom, Mary, at a Guardians game

For over two years, CJ has been enjoying his choice of activities provided by the Quantum LEAP recreational program. When asked about why he participates, the answer is simple: “I like to do it!”

One of CJ’s sports is bowling. His high game has been 130 and he regularly has an average of 110. He always uses two bowling balls which are green and his favorite color! Best of all, CJ regularly meets new friends as part of the fun.

CJ also participates in basketball and boxing and strongly recommends all of LEAP’s recreational offerings. When he is not playing sports, CJ is an assembler for a local manufacturer.

His mother, Mary, helps CJ get to all the events. Mary believes social activities are an important method to provide a sense of belonging. She stated, “LEAP offers activities, social outlets, and employment services for young men & women with disabilities.” She is very thankful for the collaboration and camaraderie CJ experiences.
