Nick's Journey with Quantum LEAP
Three years ago, Nick became a valued member of the LEAP community. Since then, he has been an active and enthusiastic consumer, receiving a caregiver and enjoying recreation opportunities. His friendly, outgoing nature makes him a well-loved figure among his fellow Quantum LEAPers.
Nick is a familiar face at various Quantum LEAP activities and is always ready to embrace new experiences. From fitness classes to community events, Nick brings his infectious energy wherever he goes!
Nick's Favorite Quantum LEAP Activities
When we asked Nick about his favorite Quantum LEAP activities, he didn't hesitate. His top picks? West Side Bowling and Jazzercise.
At West Side Bowling, Nick is a force to be reckoned with. Between spares and strikes, he reminisced about his high school bowling team days, where he averaged an impressive 175 points! To this day, Nick's best Quantum LEAP bowling score stands at 169, which he remembers with pride.
"I do better without the bumpers. I'm a professional," Nick joked, proving that his skills haven't dulled with time. He's even shared his bowling expertise with other Quantum LEAP participants, like Corrie, teaching them some of his techniques. With a huge smile, Nick eagerly offered to give me a few pointers if I was ever up for the challenge!
In addition to bowling, Nick enjoys breaking a sweat with Jazzercise, a fun and energetic way to stay active. But he's not all about intense workouts—Nick also enjoys more laid-back activities like Bingo. You can often find him eagerly waiting for his square to get called, marker in hand, fully immersed in the excitement of the game.
Creating Lasting Memories with Friends
Over the past three years, Nick has created countless memories with the Quantum LEAP community. His most treasured memories are the fun moments spent with his friends, particularly with Corrie. Together, they've attended numerous dances and activities, always sharing laughter and making memories along the way. This is a true testament to the warmth and camaraderie within our community.
Looking Ahead: New Activities Nick Wants to See at Quantum LEAP
As Nick continues to make memories, he's also eagerly anticipating new activities that could enrich the Quantum LEAP experience. One of the things Nick is most excited about is the possibility of movie nights. While he doesn't have a specific movie genre in mind, he shared that the Harry Potter series is his favorite—Harry and Hermione are his favorite characters! His excitement for the future of Quantum LEAP is truly contagious.
Nick is also excited about the return of West Side Karaoke, which is making a comeback. Whether belting out his favorite songs or having fun with friends, karaoke will surely be a hit in the future.
Nick's Love for Sports and Adventure
Despite his packed Quantum LEAP schedule, Nick finds time to pursue his love for sports. Nick is a dedicated fan of Cleveland sports teams, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Guardians. He loves the thrill of live games and prefers being in the action rather than watching them on TV. But Nick's enthusiasm for sports extends beyond attending events. He's also a fan of the WWE and enjoys playing sports video games, particularly wrestling, football, and racing games.

Outside of his sports interests, Nick sometimes attends church in his free time, finding peace and connection within his community. But no matter what he's doing, Nick's infectious energy and positive attitude are always present.
